Data sources & attribution
TransCAPI is built entirely on open data. This page lists every source, the licence it comes under, what it powers in the API, and the attribution you need to show if you display TransCAPI data in your own product.
Coverage
TransCAPI covers Great Britain: England, Scotland and Wales. The sources below are all GB-wide. Northern Ireland is not covered: its bus and rail network is published separately by Translink and is not in NaPTAN, BODS or the Network Rail timetable.

TransCAPI is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department for Transport, Network Rail, National Rail Enquiries, the Rail Delivery Group, Transport for London, Ordnance Survey, the OpenStreetMap Foundation or any transport operator.
What you need to show
These licences apply to anyone who passes the data on, including you, not just to TransCAPI. If your app, site or product displays data from TransCAPI, show the lines that apply to the endpoints you use somewhere your users can see them, such as an about screen, a footer or next to a map.
