Demo · Bus advertising
Where did your bus adverts go last week?
Pick a line, or a single bus, and see what it actually did over the last seven days: trips run, kilometres driven, the places it passed and when. It's counted from the live position of every bus we track, matched to its timetable, so it shows the service that ran, not the one that was planned.
Look up your own line or bus
Operator codes are National Operator Codes, as in /v1/bus/routes.json. Coverage is wherever operators report bus positions: most of England, little of Scotland and Wales so far.
Where it went
Each circle is a stop the buses were seen passing; bigger means more often.

The API call
Everything on this page comes from one request. The response also has trips and distance for each day, and up to 400 stops with coordinates. Docs
What this does and doesn't measure
It counts buses: trips that ran, how far, where and when, and which bus ran each one. It doesn't count people. Nothing here says how many passengers were on board or how many people saw an advert. Distance is each trip's route length where we have it, otherwise the distance between the stops it was seen at plus a quarter for the bends. A bus is only counted while it's reporting its position and matched to a timetabled trip, so the figures are a floor, not a ceiling.
